Here are some more ideas of where you can take your pushchair in the South East. These are lovely places to go, but not worth a route description.

Jubilee Walkway, London tours the main sights and parks. Though a massive 14 miles, you can pick and choose which sights you want to see!

EASY ACCESS TRAILS |
Easy access trails are starting to appear across Britain, so here is a selection in the South East. These are official trails and have not necessarily been tried and tested but should be suitable for wheels.

Bedgebury Aboretum in Kent has a selection of scenic walking routes suitable for wheelchairs.
The New Forest has several trails, notably at Bolderwood, Whitefield Moor and Wilverley Plain, or visit the Knightwood Oak, the largest oak in the forest
Burnham Beeches in Buckinghamshire is one of the best examples of ancient woodland in England and has a selection of easy access paths for those of us with wheels. |

A simple, but beautiful, riverside walk that takes you to a castle and roman villa. It is also possible to extend the walk to incorporate a trip to a birds of prey and wildlife centre. Perfect any time of year and suitable for all types of pushchair.
Note: The villa is closed for refurbishment until Summer 2008. |

A lovely walk through the beautiful Cobham Park with fine views of both Cobham Hall and the Darnley Mausoleum. This walk is only suitable for single atp's and involves one lift and a steep hill. PWSE21 Darnley Mausoleum is an easier version of this walk that is suitable for all single and double buggies. |

A lovely walk into stunning Cobham Woods to the Darnley Mausoleum with fine views of Cobham Hall. This easy walk is suitable for all pushchairs but there is one lift for double buggies. PWSE11 is a circular version of this walk that is only suitable for single atp's. |

Walk through an area of ancient woodland to a fairy ring with carved wooden seats. There is plenty to see on this lovely woodland trail but why not make a day of it and visit the wetland area, sensory garden and adventure playground and even stop for a picnic too. |

Richborough Castle , Sandwich

This short walk takes you around the impressive Roman Fort, Richborough Castle . There are fine views of the coast and of the River Stour. A river bus runs between Sandwich and the fort and when combined with the walk makes a fantastic day out. |

A lovely walk along the banks of Bewl Water with plenty of opportunities for picnicking. The reservoir supports a huge variety of wildlife and is the perfect place to spend a few hours with the kids. The route is situated far from the busy Bewl Water visitor centre and is great tranquil walk anytime of the year. |

The Grand Union Canal & Reservoirs, Tring |

A great year round walk on the towpaths of the Grand Union Canal and around the reservoirs that feed it. Great for bird watchers and plenty of ducks for the kids to feed. The walk is suitable for all single pushchairs and the only obstacle on route is a short fight of steps. |

A short walk for all pushchairs to a war memorial and one of the most dramatic view points in the Chilterns. Coombe Hill is one of the highest points in eastern England and has spectacular views over the Vale of Aylesbury, the Berkshire Downs and the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic spot for a picnic on a hot summers day

Tudeley Woods Nature Reserve, Pembury

A beautiful walk through a quiet RSPB nature Reserve. The reserve is a haven for a variety of bird and butterflies. The woods also support over 1000 fungi species and are carpeted with bluebells, primroses and orchids in spring. This walk is only suitable for single ATP's and has two narrow kissing gates to lift the pushchair over. Dogs are not allowed in the reserve

An easy walk on level paths through a beautiful forest park that has been developed from a former industrial landscape. This walk is perfect for all pushchairs and there is plenty to occupy the family for the whole day with wildlife trails, an adventure playground and a sensory garden. |

This walk takes you along the Chiltern ridge within the Ashridge Estate and has stunning views across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The woods are at their finest in spring and autumn but the walk can be done any time of year although some paths may be muddy in winter. |

A tranquil walk along the banks of the River Medway and through the apple orchards that line the valley. The riverside path is liable to flooding after very heavy rain and can be muddy in places. Suitable for all terrain pushchairs only. |
