This beautiful and easy walk takes you to see a series of three waterfalls which are some of the most dramatic in the Yorkshire Dales. The route also goes through a lovely woodland nature reserve which is home to many wild mammals and birds. |

The walk takes you for a leisurely stroll past the abbey ruins and through the parkland. This is a wonderful walk for a summer’s day and there is plenty of opportunity for a picnic. There is also the option of tea and ice creams in the Abbey Tearooms! |

This is a fantastic place to explore with something to see round every corner. There are menhirs, dolmens and temples to amaze both you and the kids. Although the actual walk is relatively short allow plenty of time to take in the sites and have a picnic. |

PWY20 Ingleborough Estate Trail, Clapham |

This is a walk for all seasons that takes you through woodland to the open moorland. The paths are fantastic throughout and, although the outward route is all uphill, it is relatively easy pushing. The trail takes you to a show cave so why not go underground while you are there! |

This is a great walk along easy green lanes and tracks. The route takes you between two villages and passes over fords and stone clapper bridges on the way. This area is popular for walking as it has some of the best limestone scenery in the Yorkshire Dales. |

PWY22 Grassington Lead Mining Trail |
1 hour 30 minutes: 2.75miles (4.5km) |

This fascinating route takes you along part of a mine trail visiting reservoirs, smelt mills, dams and chimneys and the paths are excellent throughout. Be aware that this walk is across a high moorland area and consequently can be quite exposed so make sure you wrap up well. |

PWY23 Pateley Bridge to Glasshouses |

This is a great route with panoramic views over Nidderdale and the moors beyond. The route returns via a picturesque path alongside the River Nidd. There is a steep section at the beginning (hence the grading) but the rest of walk is level or downhill! |

An easy walk that is fantastic at any time of the year. The walk follows the banks of the River Nidd to a lake and tea shop. There's plenty to amuse the kids with puddles to splash in after wet weather and ducks to feed on the lake. |

This walk takes you through a deer park and along beautiful water garden. There are fantastic views throughout and ample spots for picnicking. The terrain is good and if the weather is hot then you can cool your feet down in one of the many fords! |

This is a great walk along forestry paths and well made tracks around a reservoir with wonderful views across the water and surrounding countryside. Some of the land surrounding the reservoir has been set aside as a nature reserve so look out a variety of water birds while you are on your walk. |

This easy saunter on quiet green lanes through rural Yorkshire is fantastic anytime of the year. The route returns along a tranquil canal towpath where wild raspberries grow in abundance during the late summer months

An easy walk along canal towpath, past a castle and into tranquil woodland. The walk is relatively short which gives plenty of opportunity for a picnic, a look around the castle, a boat trip or a bit of shopping in this market town. |

A quick and easy walk with stunning views over the southern Yorkshire Dales. The walk takes you to a fantastic picnic spot but make sure you visit on a sunny wind free day if you plan to sit down and take in the views. A circular route is available for those with papooses (not pushchair friendly). |
