PWY1 Harewood Estate |

Take a walk around the Harewood Estate along easy farm lanes and woodland bridleways. The route gives great views of Harewood House and there are plenty of animals for the kids to spot en route. |

A great easy walk which can be extended or shortened en route to suit. The walk takes you along broad woodland tracks alongside a lake. Ideal for groups and plenty of ducks for the kids to feed. |

PWY7 Farndale Daffodils |

A very easy walk along level and well maintained paths. The route takes you through the picturesque valley of Farndale which is especially beautiful when the wild daffodils are in bloom (March – early May). |

PWY10 St Gregory’s Minster & Kirkdale Hyena Cave |

This is a beautiful walk that takes you along a secluded wooded valley to the ancient church of St Gregory’s Minster. There is also the option to see Kirkdale Hyena Cave, which caused a sensation in the 19th century due to the vast quantities of bones found in the cave. |

PWY12 Goathland to Moorgates |

This walk takes you through pretty countryside around the picturesque village of Goathland in the heart of the North York Moors, famous as the setting for “Heartbeat”. The route runs alongside part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and can be done as part of a day out on the train. It follows good tracks and paths but there is a ford to cross, so wear good boots or wellies. |

PWY13 Guisborough Forest |

Guisborough Forest is the largest area of woodland in Cleveland and our walk takes you on forest tracks and paths around part of the forest. The route is good going, but can be muddy in wet weather. There are chainsaw sculptures, wildlife pools, an adventure playground and the option to visit a peaceful lake. |

PWY14 Cawthorn Woods and Roman Camps, Cropton |

This is an easy, flat walk through pleasant woodland to visit the remains of the Roman Camps at Cawthorn. The walk is well signposted from the car park and is a designated easy access trail indicating suitability for wheelchairs. The paths are easy gravel and grass and the route winds its way through pleasant woodland. There is a clearing with benches next to the car park for picnics and play time and it's a nice, short walk for those independent toddlers! |

PWY15 Commondale to Danby |

This walk follows the Eskdale mainline railway between the villages of Commondale and Danby through farmland, woodland and moorland. There are spectacular views along the valley to the surrounding moors and the route follows is easy going along good tracks, apart from a few inclines. |

PWY32 Engine Fields to Spring Wood, Yeadon |
2 hours: 3.75 miles (6 km) |

The walk begins at a beautiful nature reserve in the heart of Yeadon and follows a dismantled railway track into tranquil woodland. The paths are good throughout and the hard grading is only given due to the uphill return route on quiet lanes. |
