PWY33 West Cliff and Whitby Sands |
1hr: 1.75 miles (2.8km) |

This is an easy walk but has a steep ascent at the end! There are stunning views across to Whitby Abbey and paddling and sandcastle building on Whitby Sands. The going is very easy along metalled paths and sand so this walk is suitable for those with small babies. You can even opt out of the final climb by taking the cliff lift! The beach gets cut off at high tide so check tide times before you go. |
