PWY51 Danefield, Chevin Forest Park, Otley

1 hour: 2.25 miles (3.6 km)

The Chevin Forest Park is popular amongst locals, and rightly so, as it is perfect for a tranquil walk any season of the year. The broad paths make this walk perfect for group outings so take your ATP friends along and catch up on the gossip on route!

PWY53 Bramham Park , Bramham, Leeds

2 hours: 3.5 miles (5.6 km)

Bramham Park is a magical place where you can explore 17 th century gardens which remain virtually unchanged to this day. Take a picnic along as there are ample opportunities to stop and plenty of space for the kids to play. Go midweek and you may have the gardens to yourself!

PWY56 Upton Nature Reserve, Upton, Pontefract

2 hours 30 minutes: 4.5 miles (7.2 km)

An easy ramble along a disused railway path to a tranquil lake set in a regenerated mining area. The paths are nice and easy for all-terrain pushchairs, with varied views of lakes, fields and woodland.

PWY52 Ogden Water, Bradford

45 minutes: 1.5 miles (2.4 km)

A lovely easy walk around Ogden Water and through the surrounding woodland. There are plenty of waterfowl to see in the reservoir and a variety of plants and wildlife within the woodland. There are also picnic tables towards the end of the walk just when you need refuelling!

PWY42 Brayton Barff, Selby

1 hour: 1.5 miles (2.4 km)

A lovely easy walk through an area of mature native woodland. The woodland attracts a variety of wildlife and is filled with birdsong throughout the day. A perfect walk anytime of year but especially good in spring when the woodland floor is covered with a carpet of bluebells.

PWY49 Cawood Loop, Cawood, nr Selby

1 hour 30 mins: 2.8 miles (4.5km)

A delightful walk along river banks and through fields and history, all in a short distance from the beautiful village of Cawood. Paths are a combination of grass, gravel and tarmac. Field and riverside paths can be muddy and flood with high water. There is one flight of steps and a narrow bridge which may require assistance.

PWY43 SKipwith Common, nr Selby

1 hour: 1.5 miles (2.4 km)

A fantastic walk that can be enjoyed at any time of year. The route takes you through an ancient heathland habitat within the largest reserve of its kind in Northern England . Cows, ponies, deer and sheep all graze within this open reserve adding to the experience for you and your children. There is an optional extension included within this route.

PWY55 Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve, Castleford

2 hours 45 minutes: 5 miles (8 km)

This fantastic walk is great for a full days outing. It takes you through the nature reserve, farmland and woodland. Spend a bit of time watching and feeding the birds, stop for a pub lunch in Ledsham and then finish with ice creams back at the visitors centre – perfect!
